Non Non Biyori

Hotaru Ichijou moves from Tokyo to the rural village of Asahigaoka and finds a school unlike anything she knew in the city: only a few students attend, all in different grades, and even the nearest store feels far away. She soon befriends young Renge and sisters Natsumi and Komari, settling into the slow rhythm of countryside life through changing seasons, small trips, and local festivals. What first looks like isolation becomes a world full of details Hotaru never noticed in Tokyo. Between fields, mountains, and long waits for the bus, ordinary days themselves become the adventures that make her new home feel special.
