Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

Boruto Uzumaki grows up in a peaceful, technologically advanced Hidden Leaf built by his father's generation, yet he resents how the Hokage title seems to have taken Naruto away from home and reduced Boruto to 'the hero's son' in other people's eyes. Missions with Sarada Uchiha and Mitsuki gradually change his understanding of what being a ninja means. Then members of the Otsutsuki clan attack the world he believed was safe, leaving Boruto with the Karma mark, a source of tremendous power that can also erase his identity. That fate connects him to Kawaki, another boy carrying the same burden.
