Momoko Sakura, better known as Maruko, is an ordinary elementary school girl with a talent for laziness, daydreaming, and getting herself into small but memorable troubles. A mysterious crystal fragment falls to Earth just as an unnatural snowstorm begins spreading across Tokyo. The shard is found by astronomer Kakeru Oozora, whose fascination with the legendary Princess Kaguya draws the attention of a real enemy from space: Snow Kaguya, who intends to freeze the entire planet.When Kakeru falls ill, Luna stays close to the gentle man who once cared for her and finds herself experiencing a love she cannot easily express as a cat.
