Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru

Kakeru Kurahara was a gifted runner before walking away from the sport, and a desperate sprint after stealing food leads him to Haiji Kiyose, a university student who immediately recognizes his speed. Haiji offers him a room in the cheap Chikusei-sou residence and reveals the real condition only after Kakeru moves in: all ten residents are officially members of the track club.

Haiji's goal is to enter the Hakone Ekiden, one of Japan's most demanding university relay races. The problem is that most of the house has never trained seriously, and several residents want nothing to do with running. With only months to qualify, Haiji tries to turn ten incompatible people into a team, while Kakeru must face why he ran away from the one thing he does better than almost anything else.
