Kemonozume

For generations, flesh-eating creatures called Shokujinki have hidden among humans, able to pass as ordinary people until hunger transforms them into clawed beasts. The secret Kifuuken school exists to hunt them, and Toshihiko Momota has been raised to inherit that duty. Everything he was taught becomes harder to accept when he falls in love with Yuka Kamitsuki, a woman who belongs to the very species he is sworn to kill.

Their forbidden relationship erupts just as Kifuuken itself begins to fracture. Toshihiko's brother Kazuma wants to replace the school's old methods with a harsher, modern approach, while buried truths about humans and Shokujinki complicate the simple line between hunter and monster. Love, appetite, and loyalty soon become impossible to separate.
