Tales of the Abyss

The world of Auldrant follows the Score, a prophecy believed to dictate every event from individual lives to wars between nations. Luke fon Fabre has lived confined to his family's manor since a childhood kidnapping erased his memories, leaving him arrogant, sheltered, and ignorant of the conflict outside.

When Luke protects his sword master from the fonist Tear Grants, their powers transport them far from home. The return journey reveals replicas, political schemes, and a catastrophe tied to Luke's identity, forcing him to decide whether people should obey a promised future or accept responsibility for creating one themselves.
