Spring brings Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond to the entrance ceremony at Tracen Academy. Kitasan has not yet discovered the dream she wants to pursue, while Satono carries her family's long-held wish to overcome its history and claim victory in a major race.

The two friends step onto their new path with hope, uncertainty, and admiration for the racers who came before them. Their first day marks the beginning of separate ambitions that will repeatedly meet on the same track.
