Macross Plus Movie Edition

Decades after the first Space War, test pilot Isamu Alva Dyson returns to his homeworld Eden to evaluate a next-generation fighter. His reckless style immediately puts him in competition with Guld Goa Bowman, an old friend turned bitter rival who is piloting the opposing prototype.

Their rivalry is inseparable from Myung Fang Lone, the woman who once connected them and now manages the hugely popular virtual idol Sharon Apple. As the fighter competition intensifies, suppressed memories and jealousy resurface, while Sharon's artificial intelligence develops in dangerous directions. A contest over machines becomes a confrontation with the unresolved past between three people who never truly escaped one another.
