Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun: Tonari no Gokudou-kun

In a wildly altered Edo-era world, Princess Chizuru Ooshima is trying to study for an English proficiency test despite her overwhelming love of sweets. To keep her focused, the shogun bans sweets throughout the town, creating trouble for everyone caught in the princess’s desperate craving.

At the same time, two powerful groups are at odds: the Mizutani faction led by the respected Shizuku “Ane-san” Mizutani, and the Yoshida faction led by the unpredictable Haru “Harunosuke” Yoshida. When Shizuku tries to deliver news about a newly founded temple school, an accidental meeting with Haru sparks romance, and not everyone around them is willing to let the relationship develop peacefully.
