Sawako Kuronuma has finally begun to understand that her feelings for Shouta Kazehaya are more than friendship. Unfortunately, realizing that truth only makes speaking to him harder. On Valentine's Day she cannot bring herself to give him chocolate, and the silence between them grows into a distance neither of them actually wants.

When their second year begins, Sawako remains in the same class as Kazehaya, Ayane, Chizuru, and Ryuu, but the arrival of the sociable Kento Miura complicates an already fragile situation. With both Sawako and Kazehaya convinced they may be misunderstanding the other, their relationship depends on whether they can finally replace assumptions with honest words.
