Kazuya enters his family’s resort trip still unable to make sense of the distance between himself and Chizuru. After everything they have shared, he begins to believe that keeping their rental relationship alive will only hurt them both, and he resolves to end the long-running pretense once they return to Tokyo.

Mami, however, has no intention of letting their secret survive the trip. When she exposes the truth in front of Kazuya’s family and friends, the story that has protected him and Chizuru for so long collapses at once.
