Yojouhan Time Machine Blues

On one of the hottest days of August, Ozu spills a drink over the remote control for the student residence's only air conditioner, leaving everyone to suffer inside what feels like an oven. At exactly the right moment, a real time machine appears, and the narrator, Akashi, and their friends decide to travel back one day and retrieve the remote before it is destroyed. The plan would be simple if Ozu could resist interfering with the past. He cannot. Objects and actions begin appearing where they do not belong, creating problems that grow with every trip. Saving a cheap remote soon matters far less than preventing a paradox that could erase their present altogether, forcing everyone to chase their own past selves through hours of escalating chaos.
