Mushishi Zoku Shou: Suzu no Shizuku

Years ago, a boy named Yoshiro heard bells ringing from a mountain near his home, as though the land itself were celebrating. When Ginko later visits that same mountain, he encounters Kaya, a mysterious girl whose body is entwined with growing plants and whose existence seems inseparable from the place around her.

With the adult Yoshiro's help, Ginko begins tracing the girl's past and the strange role the mountain has chosen for her. What he uncovers is not simply an illness to cure, but an ancient relationship between humans, mushi, and the living land, one in which saving a single person may disturb a balance far larger than any individual life.
