Gundam: G no Reconguista

Centuries after the age of space wars, humanity lives in the Regild Century and depends on Photon Batteries transported to Earth through the Capital Tower. Bellri Zenam, a cadet at the academy responsible for protecting the tower, is pulled into battle when pirates attack the transport system and pilot Aida Surugan is captured with her mobile suit, the G-Self. To everyone's surprise, Bellri can activate the mysterious machine despite restrictions that keep most people from piloting it.

Drawn to Aida and to her questions about the control of energy, Bellri leaves the familiar world of the Capital behind and enters a conflict involving powers from both Earth and space. At every step, the secrets of the G-Self, the Photon Batteries, and their own origins become part of a struggle that may decide what follows humanity's long, fragile peace.
