Gundam: G no Reconguista Movie I - Ike! Core Fighter

In the Regild Century, Earth depends on Photon Batteries delivered from space through a sacred tower protected by the Capital Guard. Bellri Zenam is a cadet living a peaceful life until pirates attack the tower during a training exercise. After pilot Aida Surugan and her mysterious mobile suit, the G-Self, are captured, Bellri discovers something he cannot explain: the machine responds to him and allows him to pilot it.

That connection pulls him into the conflict between the Guard and the pirates and brings him close to Aida, toward whom he feels a strange familiarity. As the G-Self enters battle, Bellri begins a journey that reveals the peace he knows is built over secrets involving energy, space, and even his own origins.
