Orient: Awajishima Gekitou-hen

After Kojirou learns that his father was connected to the Uesugi clan, he joins Musashi and Tsugumi in a massive campaign on Awaji Island, where the eight-headed dragon Yamata no Orochi threatens the entire region. Warriors from several clans gather to bring it down, but Musashi is forced to confront an uncomfortable truth: individual strength is not enough in a battle this large, and he does not yet know how to fight as part of a coordinated force.

While he learns to connect his power with his allies, the Obsidian Eight resume their pursuit of him because of the Obsidian Goddess dwelling inside his body. The battle for Awaji becomes a struggle between defeating the Kishin and surviving the schemes of those who want the power Musashi carries.
