Koukyoushihen Eureka Seven: New Order

After the struggle surrounding the Scub Coral reaches its final stage, Eureka learns that calming the planet will demand a sacrifice unlike anything she and Renton have faced. Seven fragments of her soul must be scattered across the land, and completing the task means accepting that the future she wants beside Renton may no longer be possible.

Renton refuses to treat their separation as a final goodbye. Even as Eureka follows the path required to save the world, he clings to the promise that distance, time, and the changes overtaking both of them will not erase what they share.
