Masaru Daimon has never met a problem he could not punch, so when a rebellious Agumon appears in the human world, their first conversation naturally becomes a fistfight. The clash ends not with enemies but with a fierce friendship, and the unusual pair soon catches the attention of DATS, a secret organization that handles Digimon incidents.

Alongside the brilliant Touma Norstein and the levelheaded Yoshino Fujieda, Masaru begins confronting Digimon that cross into the human world. Yet the growing number of incidents points to something far larger than random accidents. As distrust rises between humans and Digimon, Masaru and Agumon must fight through enemies on both sides and discover whether the two worlds can survive without destroying each other.
