Pokemon Movie 23: Koko

Deep in the protected Okoya Forest, a troop of Zarude lives by strict rules that forbid outsiders. One Zarude broke those rules years ago to raise an abandoned human infant as his own son. That child, Koko, grows up believing completely that he is a Pokémon. His certainty begins to crack when he meets Ash and Pikachu and, for the first time, forms a friendship with another human. Questions about where he came from and what being human actually means arrive just as a powerful outside threat targets the forest itself. Koko is forced to choose where he belongs, while the Zarude who raised him must decide what fatherhood means when protecting a child may require letting him become someone different.
