Evangelion: Housou 30-shuunen Kinen Tokubetsu Kougyou

Asuka Langley Soryu meets another Asuka from a different timeline, and instead of settling the encounter through an Eva battle, the two host a comedy stage show built around everything they have lived through. Together they reenact important moments involving Shinji, Rei, and their own diverging paths, though some memories remain difficult to laugh at from the inside.

Beneath the jokes about two timelines lies a personal goal for Soryu: finding an ending that finally feels right for her story. Perhaps it takes another version of herself to see that the “perfect ending” may not be the scene she once imagined at all.
