Buddy Daddies

Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa are professional assassins who live together while keeping emotional attachments safely out of their lives. During a Christmas Eve job, four-year-old Miri Unasaka wanders into the middle of their operation while searching for her father, and the chaos ends with the two killers bringing the child home.

What is meant to be a temporary arrangement becomes a routine of daycare, meals, clothes, and preschool meetings, challenges unlike anything their work prepared them for. Miri knows nothing about their profession and gradually treats both men as family. As Kazuki and Rei try to protect her from the violent world they inhabit, she forces them to confront their own childhoods and whether two people accustomed to taking lives can build a real home.
