Synopsis
From within Rimuru's memories, Veldora looks back on the crisis that struck Tempest after its leader left the nation for a time. An enemy barrier and the invasion by Falmuth leave the monster city devastated, forcing Rimuru to confront the cost of being unable to protect everyone he loves.
Refusing to accept the losses, Rimuru pursues the dangerous path to becoming a true Demon Lord. The gamble brings extraordinary change to Tempest and finally fulfills a long-awaited promise: Veldora is released from his imprisonment and can stand beside his sworn friend in the outside world once more.
