School Rumble

Tenma Tsukamoto loves her classmate Ooji Karasuma, but she cannot deliver a simple confession without turning it into disaster. At the same time, delinquent Kenji Harima secretly loves Tenma and has exactly the same problem: every attempt to get closer to her ends in an even bigger misunderstanding.

Tenma sees only Karasuma, Harima sees only Tenma, and the rest of their classmates become tangled in a growing web of crushes, rivalry, and jealousy. Letters go astray, confessions are interpreted backwards, and school trips, sports, and ordinary days create new opportunities for chaos. Beneath the comedy, everyone is still trying to learn how to say something as simple as “I love you” without ruining the moment.
