Synopsis

Keita Amano wakes one morning to discover that his Yo-kai Watch has vanished and that even his closest Yo-kai friends no longer remember him. The trail leads him, Whisper, and Jibanyan sixty years into the past, where they meet Keita's grandfather Keizou as a boy.

Keizou is destined to create the first Yo-kai Watch, but the sinister Dame Dedtime is manipulating history to prevent that future from ever happening. To restore the bond between humans and Yo-kai, Keita must help his grandfather rediscover his courage and complete the invention that will connect their two eras.
