Lupin Zero

Before the name “Lupin III” becomes famous among police and thieves, Lupin is a teenage boy in 1960s Japan living under the shadow of a legendary thief grandfather and a father with plans of his own. He hates being treated like a child and constantly searches for an adventure that can prove he is capable of choosing his own path.

He meets a young Daisuke Jigen, beginning a partnership built more on challenge, curiosity, and nerve than complete trust. Through small heists, guns, and criminals far more dangerous than either of them, Lupin learns that a true thief does more than take something valuable; he chooses which rule to break and how to escape laughing. Every adventure brings the boy closer to the man the world will later know.
