Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning

In 2012, Daisuke, Ken, Miyako, Iori, Takeru, and Hikari are older, but the bonds with their Digimon partners remain part of their lives. A gigantic Digi-Egg suddenly appears above Tokyo Tower and broadcasts a wish that everyone in the world should have a Digimon friend. Soon the group meets Lui Ohwada, a young man carrying a broken Digivice who claims to have been the very first DigiDestined. Behind the appearance of Ukkomon and that world-changing wish lies a history tied directly to Lui. As the truth begins to surface, Daisuke and the others are forced to reconsider how the bond between humans and Digimon began, and whether every bond created in the name of friendship is necessarily a blessing.
