Sidonia no Kishi

A thousand years after the alien Gauna destroyed Earth, humanity survives aboard enormous seed ships drifting through space. On Sidonia, Nagate Tanikaze emerges from a lifetime spent hidden in the ship's depths and is abruptly forced to adapt to a society he barely understands.

Nagate's exceptional ability with the Gardes combat machines soon places him on the front line when the Gauna return. Alongside Shizuka Hoshijiro, Izana Shinatose, and other young pilots, he must learn what it means to protect Sidonia while uncovering the secrets of the ship, his own past, and the enemy that has hunted humanity across the stars.
