After Tem's murder, Cherryton Academy remains strained by fear and distrust between herbivores and carnivores. Legoshi can no longer ignore either the crime or the power he carries as a wolf, so he begins searching for the killer while struggling to control his instincts and his feelings for Haru. With Louis absent from school, questions surrounding the next Beastar grow more urgent as society slips deeper into suspicion. The investigation leads Legoshi toward a confrontation more dangerous than he expected, forcing him to train his body and mind so he can fight without becoming the predator others already assume him to be. Every step toward the truth tests the line between instinct and conscious choice.
