Orange: Mirai

Ten years after Kakeru's death, Suwa, Naho, and their friends gather beneath the cherry blossoms and once again face the absence that has followed them into adulthood. A visit to Kakeru's home reveals more about his final days, strengthening their desire to send letters to their younger selves and give the past a different possibility. The events are seen largely through Suwa, who understands that helping Kakeru also means supporting the bond between Kakeru and Naho despite his own feelings. Between the future they actually lived and the one their letters may create, small choices and quiet sacrifices become the means by which a friend might receive another chance to live.
