At sixteen, Naho Takamiya receives a letter claiming to have been written by herself ten years in the future. She dismisses it at first, until the day's events begin matching what the letter predicted, most importantly the arrival of new transfer student Kakeru Naruse. The message warns of a chain of small decisions that will leave Naho's future self burdened with regret and asks her to watch over Kakeru because he will not be alive ten years later if events continue unchanged. Knowing the future does not make changing the present easy. Naho is still shy and hesitant, and she must find the courage to act during moments she already knows could become permanent regrets if she stays silent.
