The Hero Association pushes deeper into the Monster Association's stronghold, where a rescue mission has become a chain of battles separating its strongest fighters and forcing them toward their limits. Elsewhere, Garou continues to change; every opponent he survives pushes him closer to the "monster" he wants to become, even as contradictions remain between that image and the choices he actually makes. Saitama, meanwhile, advances through the chaos in his usual fashion, often unaware of the scale of the conflict surrounding him. Their paths are drawing closer to collision, and the question is no longer only who is strongest, but what kind of strength will still be standing at the end.
