As industrial Labors become indispensable to construction and public life, the same machines also create a new class of crime too dangerous for ordinary police equipment. Tokyo's Special Vehicles Section 2 answers with its own Patrol Labors, placing officers such as Noa Izumi at the controls of machines built to confront rogue Labors directly.

Under the deceptively relaxed Captain Gotou, the eccentric members of Section 2 deal with everything from theft and reckless operators to military-grade threats and political complications. Their work demands mechanical skill and courage, but surviving one another's personalities can be just as challenging as keeping the city safe.
