Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor 2 the Movie

Three years after the Babylon Project crisis, most of Special Vehicles Section 2 has moved on. Captain Gotou and Shinobu Nagumo remain, but a missile attack on a bridge and a series of carefully engineered military incidents push Tokyo toward panic and place the Self-Defense Forces under suspicion.

Behind the escalating crisis stands Yukihito Tsuge, a former officer whose past is deeply connected to Nagumo. As false information, political fear, and military force begin eroding the boundary between peace and war, Gotou gathers the old Section 2 members again. Their mission is no longer a routine police operation, but an attempt to expose the hand manipulating the country before Tokyo tears itself apart.
