Tsukimonogatari

While studying for university entrance exams, Koyomi Araragi notices a sign he cannot ignore: his reflection has disappeared from mirrors. After years of relying on the vampiric abilities still left inside him, specialists Yozuru Kagenui and Yotsugi Ononoki explain that his body has begun progressing toward becoming a true vampire. The choice is simple and cruel: stop using supernatural power, or risk losing his humanity permanently. The crisis does not give him a peaceful chance to decide, however, because people close to him are placed in danger and the abilities he has been told not to use remain the fastest way to save them. Araragi faces a new test of sacrifice: whether heroism means using his power, or knowing when he must refuse to.
