Hanamonogatari

With Koyomi Araragi and Hitagi Senjougahara graduated, Suruga Kanbaru remains at Naoetsu High trying to adjust to a life where her older friends are no longer nearby in the same way. A rumor reaches her about a figure called the Devil who solves people's problems, and Kanbaru fears it may be connected to the supernatural monkey arm she has carried for so long. Her investigation leads to Rouka Numachi, a former basketball rival who listens to people's troubles and collects their misery without truly solving anything. Their reunion reopens memories of competition, injury, and the different ways both girls learned to live with loss. When parts of Kanbaru's monstrous arm begin disappearing, it becomes clear that the Devil rumor is far more connected to her than she expected.
