Gegege no Kitarou: Nippon Bakuretsu

A plea for help reaches Kitarou from Hana Kazamatsuri, a girl surrounded by disturbing incidents. Before he can reach her, the mirror yokai Kagamijii drags Hana into a reflected world, scatters Kitarou's companions across Japan, and traps Kitarou himself where his usual powers are stripped away.

Escaping the mirror is only the beginning. The ancient Yatonokami, once sealed by Enma, is awakening, and Hana is connected to its return. As the balance between the human and yokai worlds begins to collapse, Kitarou must protect her while yokai from across all 47 prefectures gather for a battle that threatens the whole of Japan.
