Synopsis

Kitaro lives among the strange spirits of Gegege Forest with his tiny father Medama-Oyaji and a colorful circle of youkai companions. Though his home belongs to the supernatural, trouble from both humans and youkai rarely stays far away.

Whenever greed, curses, or hostile spirits upset the balance between the two worlds, Kitaro steps in with unusual powers and a strong sense of fairness.
