Takumi Fujiwara's victory over Keisuke Takahashi has made the quiet tofu delivery driver impossible for local street racers to ignore. Takeshi Nakazato, leader of the Myogi NightKids, challenges Takumi's lightweight AE86 with a Nissan Skyline GT-R and is convinced that grip and raw machine performance will crush the unknown driver of Akina.

Takumi still insists that he is not a racer, yet the anticipation of the downhill battle awakens something he can no longer dismiss. His growing reputation then attracts the far more dangerous Shingo Shoji, whose “duct-tape death match” turns a contest of skill into a reckless fight where one mistake can send both car and driver over the edge.
