Wakana Kinme runs a small laundry shop in the seaside hot-spring town of Atami, where she has spent the last two years quietly building a life among the locals despite remembering almost nothing from before she arrived. She treats every garment entrusted to her with unusual care, understanding that fabric can carry memories far more delicate than the stains she is asked to remove.

Through customers, friends, hot springs, and ordinary conversations, Wakana becomes woven into the town's daily rhythm. Cleaning cannot simply restore her missing past, but it lets her preserve pieces of other people's lives. Little by little, she discovers that belonging does not always require knowing where you came from; sometimes it grows from the people and places you choose to care for now.
