Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan (2023)

Tokyo is still finding its footing in the Meiji era when Kaoru Kamiya meets a peculiar wanderer named Kenshin Himura. He carries a reverse-blade sword and refuses to kill, even as a murderer using the name Battousai drags Kaoru's dojo into scandal. The truth is stranger than the impostor: Kenshin himself is the real Battousai, once one of the revolution's deadliest assassins. He has chosen to use his skill to protect life, but the people he grows close to give him something he can now lose.
