Yuusha-kei ni Shosu: Choubatsu Yuusha 9004-tai Keimu Kiroku

In this world, the title of Hero is not an honor but a punishment reserved for the worst criminals. Those sentenced to heroism are thrown onto the front lines against the Demon Lords, and death offers no release—they are simply revived and sent back to fight again. Xylo Forbartz, a former Holy Knight commander convicted of killing a goddess, leads Penal Hero Unit 9004, a band of prisoners the state considers disposable ammunition.

During one mission, Xylo encounters Teoritta, a mysterious Goddess and living weapon capable of changing the balance of the war. He forms a contract with her that should never have been possible, and every new suicide mission turns their bond into a potential rebellion against the system that has made death itself part of the sentence. To break the chains of heroism, however, Xylo must first keep together a unit whose members have little reason to trust the world forcing them to save it.
