Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor: Reboot

A construction Labor suddenly goes berserk in the middle of Tokyo, turning a busy civilian district into a dangerous maze of wreckage. Police attempts to contain the machine fail, leaving Special Vehicle Section 2 as the force capable of meeting a Labor with another Labor.

A new team deploys its Patlabor into the city and races to stop the runaway machine before the destruction spreads. The short confrontation condenses the everyday reality of this future: advanced machines make modern life possible, and when one goes wrong, human judgment still decides who gets home safely.
