After PROTOSTAR wins the Rookie Men’s Idol Fes and makes its CD debut, Akira, Banri, and Chihiro finally seem to have found stable ground. Then sMiLea Production announces a new challenge: a release battle pitting them against fellow agency groups LEGIT and JAXX/JAXX, with each unit competing through a new song. Rivalry becomes complicated when the people they must outperform are also friends working under the same roof, and every performance exposes weaknesses that success had previously hidden. As PROTOSTAR prepares for its next stage, the members have to decide not only how to beat the other groups, but what kind of unit they actually want to become.
