Boukyaku Battery (TV)

Haruka Kiyomine and Kei Kaname were once the most feared pitcher-catcher battery in middle school baseball, a duo that crushed the ambitions of countless opposing players. Yet when high school begins, both unexpectedly appear at ordinary Kotesashi High, a school without any serious baseball program. The reason is stranger than the transfer itself: Kei has lost his memory, and the brilliant “General” who once controlled every game has become a loud, childish clown with almost no interest in baseball.

They meet Tarou Yamada and several other talented players who abandoned the sport after losing to the legendary pair in the past. Their reunion reopens old wounds, but it also creates an opportunity none of them expected. As a team begins forming from nothing, the question becomes whether Kei can recover what he lost—and whether the others can return to the game they convinced themselves they had already left behind.
