Yuga Ohdo thinks Duel Monsters has become so complicated and rigid that it has stopped being fun, so he does what he loves most: invents a new way to play. He calls it Rush Duels, a faster and more flexible ruleset designed to make every match feel fresh again. The problem is that Goha controls nearly every aspect of dueling in the city and has little interest in a child rewriting its system. With Luke, Romin, and Gakuto beside him, Yuga begins spreading his new rules one duel at a time. What starts as a personal invention becomes a direct challenge to an authority determined to decide how everyone is allowed to play.
