Youjo Senki II

With the Salamander Kampfgruppe established and Tanya von Degurechaff promoted to lieutenant colonel, her brief respite behind the lines comes to an end. She is sent east again, where the Federation can draw on seemingly endless manpower while brutal weather and enormous distances turn every operation into a fight against nature as much as the enemy.

Tanya wants the war concluded through the most rational means possible, but the Empire's successes only make the other great powers less willing to let it win. Between orders that ignore human limits, exhausted fronts, and growing international intervention, she faces the same bitter irony again: the more efficiently she tries to escape madness, the more her competence places her at its center.
