Youjo Senki: Sabaku no Pasta Daisakusen

Tanya's 203rd Air Mage Battalion is deployed to the scorching southern front, where relentless combat is made worse by a shortage of water and decent food. Colonel Rerugen tries to improve morale by sending dried pasta, only to create an obvious problem: pasta is not very useful in a desert when there is barely enough water to survive.

Tanya refuses to let logistics defeat her battalion. What begins as a craving for a proper meal develops into an operation to obtain the water and ingredients needed to cook it, allowing military planning, battlefield aggression, and the very serious pursuit of pasta to become part of the same absurd mission.
