Natsume Yuujinchou Shichi: Nobashita Te wa

Before Shuuichi Natori became an established exorcist, he was a high school student largely teaching himself how to survive the supernatural world. After driving away a spirit to protect his classmate Tomita, the creature instead attaches itself to Natori, leaving him burdened by a danger he does not fully understand.

While still struggling with the possession, Natori attends a gathering of exorcists and encounters Seiji Matoba, the future head of the powerful Matoba clan. Caught between his inexperience and the expectations of old exorcist families, Natori learns that an outstretched hand can offer genuine help, but it may also carry a price.
