Ten years after the Book of Darkness incident, Nanoha Takamachi, Fate Testarossa, and Hayate Yagami have built careers within the Time-Space Administration Bureau. After seeing weaknesses in the Bureau's response to major disasters, Hayate establishes Riot Force 6, a unit created to handle dangerous Lost Logia and protect civilians before crises spiral out of control.

Nanoha and Fate train four promising recruits, Subaru, Teana, Erio, and Caro, while a series of attacks reveals enemies exploiting ancient magical technology. As the threat grows, Riot Force 6 is drawn into a conflict involving forbidden experiments, political pressure, and a plan that could overwhelm even the Bureau's strongest mages.
