Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Special: Nekogoroshi-hen

After losing a fiercely competitive card game, Keiichi, Rena, Mion, Satoko, and Rika are forced to parade around in embarrassing costumes. Hoping to escape the eyes of the villagers, Keiichi suggests a trip to the deserted neighboring settlement of Yagouchi.

What begins as a way to hide soon turns unsettling when Mion tells them about an abandoned quarry nearby and the disturbing incidents connected to it. Curiosity pulls at the group, but the stories surrounding the place make entering it feel like a decision they may regret.
